Aakansha (name changed) is a student from an all-girls college in Meerut. Self-defence had always been an intriguing idea for Aakansha, but circumstances prevented her from pursuing this. When self-defence classes began in her college, Aakansha signed up for them. Under the guidance of CISF instructors, she gradually learned various techniques, from basic strikes to more advanced manoeuvres. With each class, Aakansha’s confidence grew, and she began to embrace the physical and mental challenges of self-defence training with enthusiasm. By the end of the program, Aakansha not only developed practical skills to protect herself but also gained a newfound sense of empowerment. Her experience in the self-defence classes not only equipped her with valuable tools for personal safety but also instilled in her a lifelong commitment to self-improvement and empowerment.
